Donna was born and raised in southern California. She has always had a passion for teaching and learning, which prompted her to earn a degree in early childhood education. Donna owned and directed a successful preschool for many years where she was able to share her love of books with children. She now gathers inspiration for her stories from her two grandchildren, Sadie and Carter.
