Dr. Kevin D. Smith is a professor of education at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. In addition to helping his college students learn to become teachers, he is an illustrator with the company he started with his daughter, Kevin & Kaia. Kevin started his career as a high school math teacher and has always had a passion for teaching and art. He hopes his first book, Yucky!, inspires people to realize that math is about more than adding and subtracting.
