Before joining the corporate world in 2014, Lauren spent many years working in education as an inclusive teacher, mentor, coach, and education coordinator. These roles gave her a unique perspective on the social, emotional, and academic challenges faced by both neurodivergent and neurotypical children.
Lauren’s first book, Ella and Her Neurosparkly Brain, was published in 2025 and explores the experiences of neurodivergent children through the eyes of her autistic daughter. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents and educators, Lauren discovered her passion for storytelling with purpose. She went on to write her second book, Lumi the Lion and the Jungleball Giants, dedicated to her son, Austin. Through this story of teamwork, Lauren hopes to remind children that everyone has unique strengths, and when those strengths come together, amazing things can happen.
