Dr. Nneoma Ugorji is a pediatrician, author, and poet with more than three decades of experience caring for children and families. Originally from Nigeria and now living in the United States with her husband, she is the proud mother of five children, a loving mother-in-law to a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, and a grandmother of two. When she is not caring for patients or writing, Dr. Ugorji enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and reflecting on the stories that connect generations.
A lifelong lover of stories, reading, and writing, Dr. Ugorji believes in the power of books to nurture curiosity, imagination, and meaningful family connections. Her first granddaughter, Gemma, inspired this book through her wonder, growth, and early experiences with the world.
