Karen Lamberson moved to Florida, where her love for the ocean and its inhabitants grew and blossomed, in the mid-eighties. This is where she met Scott, her husband and partner in life, and where they raised four amazing boys, Joseph, David, Joshua, and Matthew. Karen and her family live next to the ocean, always surrounded by their beloved household pets, too numerous to mention.
Teaching art became Karen’s passion. Working in the Palm Beach County School system for more than seventeen years, Karen made her lifelong dream a reality when she decided to write and illustrate a children’s educational book series about the oceans. With the help of her husband, Professor Clark the Science Shark was born and brought to life.
Scott Lamberson, owner of Lamberson Consulting Inc., has lived in Palm Beach County in Florida for over thirty-five years. That is where he met and married the love of his life and the illustrator and co-author of this book, Karen Lamberson. Together, they raised four awesome boys, Joseph, David, Joshua, and Matthew. As a family, they have seen their love for beaches, oceans, and sea creatures grow exponentially over the years. This prompted authors Scott and Karen to create an educational children’s book series about how to help save our seas.
