Shannon Krohmer is a former preschool teacher and proud mother of three grown daughters. Married to her high school sweetheart for over thirty years, she spent twenty-one years as a military wife, including seven unforgettable years in Okinawa, Japan—her favorite stop along the way. Now a grandmother, Shannon draws inspiration for writing from the playful moments of her daughters’ childhoods. When she’s not writing, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, gardening, hiking, and fishing.
