Shelley Ramey lives in Uniontown, Ohio, with her husband, Kelly, her dog, Bear, and her granddaughter, A. M., who did all the illustrations in this book. She has two daughters, Jessica and Amanda. Shelley is a part-time day care teacher who previously worked as an account representative at a local hospital. In her free time, she enjoys raising monarch butterflies and setting them free, cooking, crafting, and finding new places to explore.
