Talkative Tasha

It’s amazing what I can learn, she thought, when I listen and don’t chat.

Tasha is a bright and lively student with a talent for talking—and she’s not shy about sharing her thoughts with just about everyone (and everything) around her! She loves chatting with classmates during lessons and calling out answers without raising her hand—habits that definitely make her stand out in class, though not always for the right reasons. Whether it’s to a friend, a squirrel, or the whole classroom, Tasha always has something to say.

But when Tasha suddenly loses her voice, she’s faced with a surprising challenge—and an unexpected lesson in the power of listening.

Talkative Tasha is a playful and heartfelt story for young readers learning the value of self-awareness, empathy, and self-control. Perfect for classrooms and families, it sparks meaningful conversations about being present, making thoughtful choices, and finding your voice—by learning when to use it and when to listen instead.
